[Chris Jericho just emailed in late tonight via iPhone. His comments are listed in italics below the original questions asked by our readers].
1). MTJ asked: “What is Chris Jericho’s favorite horror film?
Chris sent his “top ten” list for MTJ:
1. Dawn of the dead original
2. Dawn of the dead remake
3. sleepaway camp 2
4. blood sucking freaks
5. basket case
6. zombie
7. amityville 2 the posession
8. the thing (carpenter version)
9. Halloween
10. omen 2
2). Carol C asked: “Have you ever seen the Canadian horror movie Hemoglobine (English title is “Bleeders”)…I can’t remember when it came out but it stars Roy Dupuis.”
Jericho: No I haven’t Carol C. But Ginger snaps, scanners and the original my bloody valentine are all good Canadian films too
3). Pearl asked: “Has Chris seen any of the SAW movies? If so, what does he think of them?”
Jericho: I’ve seen them all but I think the series jumped the shark after the third one.
4). Luanne asked: “What does Chris think of English remakes of Japanese films such as The Grudge/Ring, etc. Does he think they’re as good as the originals?”
Jericho: No I don’t luanne. The ring retained the same creepy feel but that was it. Japan is a strange unique culture and the j horror films reflect that. They can’t be done justice by American film makers…
5). Sarah asked: “What is the worst/most cheesiest horror film you have ever seen?”
Jericho: There have been so many but Things about extraterrestial killer worms has to rank up there.

Is Chris playing a good guy or a bad guy? My little brother liked Chris better when he played a good guy.
Jericho rules the universe! Can’t wait to see him in Albino Farm!
Hello all, I just saw the movie from a screener and yes I will be buying this movie when it’s released! I think this movie and those involved with it, should get credit where credit is due. I was lucky enough to see it but now I am really stoked to see the behind-the-scenes content that the guys mentioned they cooked up for the DVD release.
SCANNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG! That is like the BEST horror film ever! I got to watch a director’s cut of that movie and discuss it with the film maker. It was awesome! Great taste in movies Chirs Jericho!!!
Great list! Can’t wait to see Y2J in Albino Farm! Is he taking any other questions?
To Tom: Chris is a busy guy but let’s see if we can get another round of five questions and I’ll send them off to him.
Send your questions to this blog posting and I’ll pick the best five of the bunch. You can ask him about other horror movies, what it’s like to be an actor in movies (working a character, what it’s like to shoot scenes?) or anything else that would be interesting for the fans of horror, wrestling, music (FOZZY) and so on.
Joe
Do Fozzy have any plans on touring the UK in the future?
Another Question
What are some of your favorite Stuck Mojo songs?
How did you guys get Chris to be involved in your movie? Would he take offers for another feature if presented to him correctly?
Got two good questions from Beth and Sarah…. three more like it and I’ll shoot them to Chris!!!
To Tom…. Chris met Sean McEwen (co-director) in the “green room” of a TV station in Florida three years ago. They were yapping away about stuff and somehow got into their mutual interest in horror films. Sean and I then got back to Chris and asked if he would be interested to play a role in “Albino Farm.” He agreed and we worked a character to his choosing and a deal with his reps.
As far as asking him if he would entertain acting offers? YES, if done properly.
All actors want offers but you need to be educated about how that is done before you do it. Some offers these days are “pay or play”deals and can get really complicated in the assurance that you are on the up and up. It seems easy on the surface – phone calls are – but the reality is that you need to make damn sure you are doing so in a serious manner and with the necessary goods. Chris has some really smart people working with him – managers and all – who field offers for him but they can spot bullshit a mile away. That’s their job. Your job is to make an offer that is legit in their eyes. In other words, an offer that has the entire package figured out completely and if they say “yes” to your offer, than they’re assured your project will actually happen.
The “package” means you have created a game plan (business plan) that not only includes the screenplay, a professional budget, other actors whom you are currently or likely to approach (co-stars with Chris), your plan for distribution, offers or deals for that distribution, a proven track record on other movies you made, where the funding for you film is coming from and proof that funding is actually in place (money must be in escrow). Then you get into shooting dates, hotel room stays and a myriad of things from there on. Simply put, you need to prove to them you are serious. You can still put on the sales puffery and tell him how great your project will be with him and how you think it may bring something to his career (which is what his manager is going to be thinking the entire time) but that “selling” should not smell of bullshit – should be icing on the cake of everything else.
All of this sounds like a tall order and, to be honest, it can be, but it’s not impossible. I can tell you that we didn’t have to jump through most of those hoops because of our relationship with Chris but that’s kind of rare. All of the other movies I have done had to deal with all of that stuff. If you are at the stage now where all of the aforementioned work is done, his people are easily found and will totally talk with you. Just have the full goods!!! Best to you! Joe
Thanks Joe. That is inspiring. I don’t want to use your platform to peddle my own stuff but as we are all horror fans, may keep everyone informed how my film comes together. In the meantime, good luck with albino farm, it looks GREAT!
I am a big fan of Chris – and I didn’t even recognize him in the trailer! OMG! I can’t wait to see him in the movie! Any chance it will play in or around the Alabama area?
To Tom: Feel free to use this site as a platform. I’ve been meaning to do a blog post about how a movie can be made – way late on it, in fact! Let me finally get that going and then we can bash things back and forth and see if we can help you figure things out.
To Steph K: Our DVD release is September 22 and there are some irons in the fire for a limited theatrical release but hard to say if it will hit Alabama. I have been to your great film festival in Birmingham – Sidewalk Film Festival – and there are a lot of really nice folks in your state.
Hey! I hadn’t checked in for a while. Good to see Jericho stopped by! Is it too late to ask him questions? Tell him he’s doing a great job with his new character on wwe.
Jericho is in this film, pretty cool. Will it be on the big screen?
I have been watching wrestling since I was 3 with my dad and you are my favorite wrestler ever. I cant wait to see you in this movie.
Is Chris planning to do any more appearances with The Groundlings?
I adore your website a lot. Will read more. Keep up to briliant posting on it. Gracias
Well thank you Elaina! Been working on some other stuff and now just getting back into the blog again. – Joe
