Interesting email sent to our blog:

[Moderator note: We were sent this email and found it rather interesting. We agreed to post it for that reason only]

mr. anderson, my apologies. i know it has taken some time for me to respond. unfortunately i am only able to email from the local library in town. again, thank you for your patience. i want to be as frank with you as possible as to the dynamic of my situation. please know that i understand that my call to release whatever i were to write in future emails was too great of a request. in no way was i trying to bully your entity in to giving me a voice. i wouldn’t do that. it was simply a method, albeit a miscalculated one, to ensure that my story would be told and that those who cared would listen. my fear, and all of this will become clear when i reveal my secret, was that no one would believe me. to be honest, i wouldn’t blame them. were i in anyone else’s position, i too would have a hard time believing this as well. but i must personally come to terms with the fact that some things are beyond my control. i can no longer worry about how the world will perceive these truths. my only wish is that you will absorb what it is i am about to tell and will please, please consider releasing it on your site.

the following, as god is my witness, is true… my real name is michael. i am named after the fallen angel of the same name in the new testament of our lord. my parents gave me this name as a representation or symbol of who we are and where we came from. i was to wear my name with pride, to never forget. you see, we were all “fallen angels”. made in the presence of god but all cast out of his kingdom to prove ourselves worthy. unfortunately, some of us were born unto this world with more challenges than others. some of us were used as a conduit for misinterpretation. myself and my family were such people. the reality is this, i know the albino farm intimately. i know its true secrets. for I am one of its children, birthed out of ignorance and intolerance. the farm is real. its history is real. i, and others like me, are real. i will tell you this, we want nothing from anyone. only for people to understand our plight and learn from it. it is truly our hope that nothing of this nature will ever occur again. to be cast away, to be forgotten. i will not linger on what it was like to live there. what it was like to be treated as misunderstood animals, discarded from the rest of society. to be honest, it wasn’t as bad as some might think. the transition back in to the mainstream has done nothing but show me that in a way, we were protected from those who would persecute and harm us. ignorance, plain and simple. in the farm, nothing fantastical occurred. i lived peacefully in harmony amongst others who were as misperceived as i was. eventually, we could come and go as we pleased. many refused to leave. who could blame them? what did the outside world really hold for those with “unique qualities” but prejudice and misunderstanding? fortunately, my experiences were different. for the most part, i have encountered wonderful people in my life. i have had amazing experiences that the farm could not fulfill for me. travel, food, love. all the beautiful things the world has in store for all of its children. i even had the opportunity to briefly work on a motion picture film and meet amazing people. i am a blessed person. and while this particular film tells its own version of the story and the truth of our tale is told through the prism of hollywood executives, i am okay with that. i hold no grudges. i have no regrets in life. and i can now sleep that much more sound knowing that there is even the slightest possibility that my story might now be heard.

mr. anderson, please share what I have communicated to you today. if not, i do understand. it’s much to take in. but as the history of this incident is written upon our backs, the backs of all of the “fallen angels”, perhaps you can do your part to set the record straight.

as always, i thank you for your time. please let me know if there are any necessary next steps. i look forward to your reply.

AH

lastly, i would like you to know the significance of the veiled moniker I use, AH. please turn to the book of revelation. chapter 1 = A, the first letter of the alphabet. verse 8 = H, the eighth letter of the alphabet. we are all one and the same, mr anderson. the beginning and the end. i hope everyone finds as much comfort in that as I do.

may the good lord walk boldly with you all.

Okay, I just got goosebumps. Is that for real? Freaky!!

  2. Tool-to-grab-tool-to-have says:

That is seriously the scariest and weirdest thing I have ever read. Was it conconcted by the filmmakers? What is the story behind this? Can we see what ‘AH’ looks like?

  3. JVorhees666 says:

WEIRD! Is this guy pulling our leg?

  4. Friker says:

Holy-Moses, that scared the be-jesus outta me!

  5. JOE (co-director) says:

This did not come from us as the filmmakers. It was sent in to this blog with the idea that this person wanted us to post it without reservation. [some of you may recall seeing an initial post on the "welcome to the web site" comments where I explained we can't agree to post things sight unseen].

I then sent a private email back to this person and explained the reasons why. The person seemed genuine and not a crank so a few more private emails ensued back and forth where I asked him to simply let me read what he wanted to post and if I didn’t agree, I would simply delete it and we call it a day. This person agreed to let me read the text, I found it interesting and saw no harm in finally posting it.

I won’t make a judgement on what it’s all about – but it is interesting at least.

    Joe

  6. Woodpecker says:

That is some weird stuff. It is a good back story for the film. Adds to the mystery. Obviously a hoax or something but cool.

  7. R.I.P. 2 says:

Yikeseee! This is some weird stuff! WTF???

  8. BuddhistMonk says:

When will this movie be out and will it be playing at the moxie in springfield mo or at a larger theater like campbell 16? Does anyone know?

  9. Hippo says:

That is the craziest thing I have ever read. Is it true? Good site!

  10. Excuse-me-sir-there's-a-pubic-hair-in-my-soup says:

Does anyone know who wrote this? Wait, I’m going to read it again…

  11. Excuse-me-sir-there's-a-pubic-hair-in-my-soup says:

Who is this guy? Is this a bunch of crap? Can the people who run this site enlighten us to more? Who sent this?

  12. JOE (co-director) says:

To Excuse me sir…: I don’t know who this person is that sent the post. It’s not a put-on by us, I can assure you on that! It’s not something we would have thought of for content. I as mentioned, it was sort of a negotiation to have the guy send it to me.

To Buddhist Monk: Working on some angles for a limited theatrical but can’t mention any specific theatres though I do know of the ones you speak of since I saw a movie there (Campbell 16) when we were scouting for the film.

To Woodpecker, R.I.P. and Hippo: For sure!!! Weird stuff. Thanks for the kind words on the site. Adding more stuff soon!!!

  13. Friker says:

Just popped over and saw this. Very weird! More please!

  14. BeetleInMyFeetle says:

    Weird!!

  15. Big Rig Driver 33 says:

This is an amazing letter. Have there been others? Has anyone investigated? I spend a lot of time on the road, have for many years and seen some weird stuff. Anyone heard of the Witch Camp?

  16. RULE OF THUMB 2 says:

They say this is real but I feel like it’s something concocted to push the legend. HOWEVER, that being said, I just peed my pants as it scared the hell outta me!!!

  17. Coolio 15 says:

If this is real then I just pooped my pants!

  18. TOM says:

I think this is real as that’s what the web monitor addressed earlier – see above. It’s very interesting.

  19. JOE (co-director) says:

To Coolio 15 and others: No lies from me! We’d be busted if we did as there are too many smart people out there to diss on things. The email was sent to us and I have no idea who it actually is. I asked some of the crew in Missouri, and that came out from LA, if they were doing this as a joke but nobody fessed-up to it. Frankly, nobody in the movie business ever has time to do anything other than, eat, drink (and drink and drink), sleep and work on movies

I could probably sleuth it out if I knew how to get an email address figured out. I also know the first name of the person but agreed to not say anything of that so as to protect them. What I do know is that this person has a lot of information about the Albino Farm – some things I learned but far more than I knew. That has been the freaky part of the whole thing for me.

    Joe :-)

  20. TOM says:

So is there a way to find out more? This is a movie in itself!

  21. JR says:

Now that is freaky. Joe, I’m with Tom. Can you find out more?

  22. JR says:

    Will “AH” please reveal himself?!?

  23. JOE (co-director) says:

Hey TOM and JR: The guy who posted has not said anything after that initial post. I was thinking he would be coming back to the fray but he never has. I am sure he reads this blog – that’s how he found us – but there’s no way for me to search him out and the agreement I had with him is that I would not expose this person. Frankly, the only thing to expose is an email address. That’s all that I have kept a secret. I did a search on that and it went nowhere. As I recall, the person uses a library to access the internet.

I would hope this person comes out of the woodwork and let’s us know more but it’s his choice to do so or not. Like you guys, it would be cool to get to the bottom of it as it is pretty weird.

    Joe :-)

  24. To AH- Having been to the Farm, absorbed myself in the legend(s) during the filming of the movie and conducted a paranormal investigation on the anomalies found in the footage, I am personally very interested in more information on your story. Spiritually speaking, there is a lot more to the actual Albino Farm location than is available through the historical archives and I would like to understand. My family lives in that area and NONE of them knew anything about the Farm or its history. Odd, to say the least, but frustrating also. Please consider sharing more of your story. It’s one that should be told. I can be contacted on this blog, at our Show Me Ghosts West website or through Joe. Thank-you and may your blessings be many!

  25. Carolyn Marvin says:

    Dear Well-Intentioned People,

I’d just like to remind me that there are thousands out there with the condition called albinism (most prefer not to be called albinos).
One of these is my best friend who has spent years dispelling the myths and stereotypes: they are always depicted as evil or superhuman, never just human. Hollywood loves to stereotype, even when it is most offensive.

Please just take this to heart…it’s hard enough to be different, without people attributing other horrific or angelic qualities which make you subhuman. Check out the N.O.A.H. site…

Please be more sensitive in future…
    Best,
    Carolyn

  26. Larry Drake says:

I saw the film and there weren’t any albinos in it that i saw. I don’t understand her comment above?
Oh, but i did want to comment on the letter from AH. That is some WEIRD stuff!! Is he for real? Has he contacted again?

  27. Thank you! I would now go on this blog every day and check for updates!

  28. Larry Duke, there was albinos in it,, the dude at the end with the glasses preaching in the big white tent thing. and AH, that email is total bull,,its sent by some guy who has a big problem i think and took the film too seriously.
Yeah the legend of Albino Farm exists, but you AH are not a child of it.

  29. Larry Drake** Anyway, i should add that i am a big fan of tammin sursok, great actress and very iunder rated. Albino Farm is a great film and beats many in its genre. And to Joe if you are up for a challenge, the challenge being having a person with absolutely no acting experience work on a film of yours then give me a shout…I got friends who are authors and actors too.

  30. Joe says:

To P.J. Curry: Tammin is a very nice person to work with and she has gone on to do other features – another horror movie as well. As far as your “challenge” to me regarding taking on an actor with no experience… who knows, might work, just depends on what you can do and what anyone needs. Have you started acting in movies that you or your friends have made? You’ll learn a lot of things by that. The last thing you want to do is to come to set on a bigger movie and realize that 100 people will be watching you. I am not an actor for just that reason! I have terminal stage fright!!! Seriously, get your author and actor friends to snag a video camera and make something happen!
    Best to you, Joe :-)

  31. Joe says:

To Carolyn Marvin: Interesting that you assume a person with albinism – in a movie – is automatically a bad guy. Check the canvas before taking a brush to it. You might just enlighten yourself.
    Best to you,
    Joe :-P

  32. MEGANFOXHASSEXYTHUMBS says:

I saw the film and my best friend growing up has albinism. I was not offended in the least. Also, the film was cool.
