Joe Anderson (Writer/Producer/Director)
Joe is the president/owner of Anxiety Island Entertainment, Inc., a managing partner with producer Rachelle Ryan in Equimedia Group LLC (”Albino Farm”) and a principal in a private investment and real estate holdings company, Howdy Partners LP, based in Seattle.
He has been involved in motion picture development and finance for many years and shared various producer roles on seven feature films including “Happy Hour” (Anthony LaPaglia, Eric Stoltz, Caroleen Feeney, Robert Vaughn), “American Reunion” (Jennifer Rubin, Corey Glover, Billy Wirth), and “Nowheresville” (Kim Tyler, Henry Lubatti). His prior work was as a consulting partner in the finance entity, O/K Ventures LLC, for Hollywood-based producers Kim O’Hara and Eric Klein, and created funding arrangements for several independent features including Catherine Jelski’s “The Young Unknowns” (Devon Gummersall, Arly Jover, Leslie Bibb, Eion Bailey). He resides in Santa Monica and Woodinville, Washington (depending on the vagaries of the business). Joe’s most recent film was “Albino Farm” which he co-wrote, co-directed and produced. His anxious little production company has several projects in the works with one planning to shoot overseas – as in a tropical location – with tiny umbrellas in the drinks! Bula!
